The cost per book is $15.00. This program is only available to riders who are also signed up with and regularly use our volunteer driver or shuttle program.

Here are some rules to remember:

• You have to sign up for the program first and get an ID card.
• You are only eligible for the taxi-gelt program if you also use our volunteer driver or shuttle program.
• You always have to call 24 hours in advance. If you don’t, you might get a taxi driver who doesn’t work for our program and won’t accept your gelt.
• You must present your Silver Streak ID card to the taxi driver in order to use your taxi gelt. Be sure to keep it in your wallet.
• Coupons are non-transferrable. You can’t give them to your husband, your wife, your cousin, your friend or your daughter! If someone else uses your voucher, you will be charged full price for the ride
• On the back of each taxi-voucher book, it tells you how far you will get with each voucher. Remember, the number of vouchers you give the cab driver depends on how far you are going.
