About Us

Family Services Orange County is the social services division of Jewish Federation & Family Services, Orange County. Formerly known as Jewish Family Services of Orange County, the agency merged with Jewish Federation of Orange County in April 2011. Today, we are Jewish Federation & Family Services, Orange County.

Family Services Orange County provides wrap-around social services across the age range to over 3,600 individuals per year in Orange County. When a family needs help with an aging parent, when a single parent loses her job and can no longer support her family, when a parent needs help advocating for their special needs child, our professional staff is here to help.

Our professional staff, lay leaders, and over 90 service volunteers work together to provide a broad scope of in-depth services to people in need. Through our major service departments – Older Adult Services, Holocaust Survivor Services, Silver Streak Senior Transportation, Lifelines Emergency Assistance, Women Forward Employment Program, Center for Special Needs, and Counseling and Psychotherapy Services, we provide multi-disciplinary services that meet the needs of multiple family members.

All ethnicities, all faiths, all people – Family Services of Orange County is committed to serving the entire community. We collaborate with over 30 community organizations to ensure that our services are embedded in an overall community response to local issues, that we are meeting the needs of the diverse Orange County population, and that we are providing services that do not duplicate the efforts of others.
