Formed from Steven Spielberg’s Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation in January 2006, the USC Shoah Foundation Institute houses 52,000 video testimonies of survivors in 32 lanuages, representing 56 countries – the largest archive of its kind in the world. The mission of the institute is to overcome prejudice, intolerance and bigotry through the educational use of its visual history testimonies.
