Welcome to the Community


The Irvine Supportive Community (ISC), is a program of JFFS in partnership with the city of Irvine, Jamboree Housing, Innovative Housing Opportunities, Silverado Care, and local healthcare, educational and business partners.

 

The program deploys both volunteers and professionals to provide layers of one-on-one and group support services that help seniors take care of their daily needs, adopt healthier lifestyle practices, connect to health services, and maintain social connections.

What Are The Wellness Clusters?


Physical Fitness: Free fitness classes in community settings, motivational coaching and revolving fitness challenges.

 

Cognitive Health: Educational workshops, memory enhancement classes, cognitive screening, and connection to diagnostic and treatment resources.

 

Diet/Nutrition and Food Security: Home supper clubs, healthy cooking/nutrition classes, harvest exchanges, and more.

 

Social Engagement: Outings, classes, lectures, and workshops that keep seniors active, engaged and stimulated.
