The social group for men and women over 18 years of age who have mild to moderate developmental, physical, and sensory disabilities.
Yad B’Yad is a social group for men and women over 18 years of age who have mild to moderate developmental, physical, and sensory disabilities.
Participants gather in a supportive and joyous atmosphere with other adults with special needs and “typical” adults. Together, they explore Jewish identify through cultural, educational and social activities that they themselves help arrange.
Facilitated by volunteers with a special needs background, Yad B’Yad participants help plan and carry out activities, events and programs. Participants pay for the cost of their activities, such as special supplies for art or cooking projects.
